The In-Depth Tour is back!

Our ever-popular hour-and-a-half In-Depth Tour is back on a reservation basis. Please calls us to make an appointment for this special program at  Frank Lloyd Wright’s Usonian gem. 

Take a rare and detailed behind-the-scenes look at the only Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house museum in the metropolitan Washington, DC area during a special In-Depth Tour at the Pope-Leighey House.  In-Depth Tours are  accredited by the AIA as 3 hours of continuing education.

NOTE: Participants will have the rare opportunity to take photos inside the house. However, photographic  images taken by In-Depth Tour participants are for educational and personal use ONLY and may not be used for commercial sale, publication or resale.    For commercial photography requests, please contact the site director at woodlawn@nthp.org. 

* Admission is $30; $25 for National Trust members.

FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT LECTURES 2011-2012

The Pope-Leighey House recently received a generous grant from the Interpretation and Education Fund of the National Trust for Historic Preservation in cooperation with the National Endowment for the Humanities to sponsor two panel discussions/lectures on Frank Lloyd Wright.    The program is being organized by Jane King Hession and Susan Hellman.    

1st lecture was March 1, 2012

2nd lecture will be Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 7:00pm at the Lyceum in Alexandria. Featured speakers are Mary Roberts, Executive Director of the Martin House Restoration Corporation; and Patrick Mahoney, President of Graycliff Conservancy. Stay tuned for ticketing information.
